As a teacher of Religious Studies (RS) at Nonsuch, you will be part of a successful, supportive team who are passionate about the subject and its importance to young people. You will have the opportunity to teach highly motivated and intellectually curious students as well as being able to help shape the future direction of the curriculum in RS.

The RS curriculum at Nonsuch aims to provide students with a robust understanding of the key beliefs, practices and concepts of the largest religions in the world, as well as being inclusive of non-religious and minority stances and world views. This is important so that they can make sense of and navigate the modern world of diverse, multi-faith Britain in the 21st century. We want our students to gain an understanding of how religious world views have shaped civilisations and played a crucial role in the development of laws, customs and values over time, in all societies in the world.

As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the running of extra-curricular activities and trips organised by the department.
